Betaab is a small, managed valley a short drive from Pahalgam, named after a film that used it. There is an entrance, a path, a stream and a view. It takes about an hour if you do not turn it into a production.
It is pretty in a contained way, and it is easy with children or with anyone who does not want a trek. It is also the most “ticketed picnic” of the Pahalgam add-ons. Go for the walk. Do not reorganise the holiday around it.
