Weather
Crisp, clear, cold at night. A beautiful month to walk. Rain is less dominant than in August. Frost appears.
What to wear
A proper jacket, a warm layer, shoes for dry cold rather than slush. Evenings on the lake need the coat you almost left in the room.

Srinagar, with Pahalgam if you still want the river. Do not build the trip on Thajiwas.
